AGNIESZKA ŻAK
She was born in 1982 in Warsaw, Poland.
She studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan (2004-2005).
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Diploma in 2007 at the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Jaroslaw Modzelewski and an annex to the diploma in the Studio of Art in Public Space under Prof. Miroslaw Duchowski, which she completed with distinction.
Winner of the ‘Prof. Józef Szajna Diploma 2007’ funded by the Mazovian Governor on the initiative of Prof. Józef Szajna and the Studio Gallery in Warsaw.
Awarded a scholarship funded by the Entry Initiative.
Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage 2010 and 2020.
In July 2019, she defended her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Prof. Stanisław Baj.
Scholarship holder of the City of Warsaw, 2019.
She runs the Drawing and Painting Studio at the Interior Design Department, UTH in Warsaw.
